A video has emerged online in which Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun is seen on set as he corrects faults in a speech prepared by his media staff while being taped for a scheduled television broadcast.
Abiodun and some of his officials can be seen disputing about sentence form in the 5:29 minute unedited footage.
Gov. Abiodun was asking the authorities in one of the paragraphs if it was correct to say “we are committed to harness” or “we are committed to harnessing.”
Abiodun, who continually stated that something was amiss with the speech, stated that he believed those in charge had made all required revisions to the script.
“Information, I thought you guys read this thing. I don’t know what you have done here o,” Abiodun said as he corrected a sentence.
With his tab, he made adjustments as he read further, asking if he is not too fast.
At a particular paragraph, the governor paused to drink some water, saying “we still have a long way to go.”
