How to add and enable Internet Download Manager in Mozilla Firefox

Internet Download Manager is a shareware download manager owned by American company Tonec, Inc. which is based in New York City. It is only available for the Microsoft Windows operating system. Internet Download Manager is a tool that manages and schedule downloads.

IDM Extension is an integration module that is installed in your Browers. If you want to Install the IDM extension in your browsers, you do not need any extra process. Just install the Internet Download Manager (IDM) latest version in your computer and the Internet Download Manager extension is will be automatically integrated into your Default browser.

Unfortunately, there are times when this extension fails to add in the Mozilla Firefox browser. In such case, all you need to do is follow the steps below;

  • Goto the Mozila Extensions page.

  • Click on settings and Select the “install the add-on From a file”.

  • Goto the Internet download Manager installed folder and select the “idmmzcc3.xpi

  • With that done, you should get a prompt informing you that you are about to add IDM Integration Module. Just click on “Add” to grant the extension some permission and you are done.

Now you can begin enjoying downloading any video via your Mozilla Firefox browser.
