197 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded in Nigeria on Thursday, September 10.
According to statistics released by the Nigeria Center for Disease Control NCDC, Plateau state recorded 83, the highest for the day, followed by Lagos with 48 new cases and Kaduna with 17 new cases.
Other states with fresh cases include FCT-16, Ogun-11, Katsina-7, Imo-4, Edo-3, Nasarawa-3, Rivers-2, Bayelsa-1, Oyo-1 and Osun-1.
Nigeria now has 55,829 confirmed cases. 43,810 patients have so far been discharged. Sadly, 1,075 deaths have been recorded.
